BMPP
Brand Refresh
BMPP, aka Building More Philanthropy with Purpose, aka Bad Mo Pho Phamily, a Twin Cities-based giving circle came to us ten years ago with a mission to change the way we view and do philanthropy. The circle is a group of families that gather to pool their resources and give micro grants to community projects through a simple application process that removes the barrier of often strenuous and inaccessible grant application processes.
We created an identity that embraced this spirit of resistance and rebellion and helped establish BMPP as an organization that does things radically different. The brand was bold, brash and defiant. Our t-shirts got banned in schools. After 10 years, The Bad Mo Phos gave over $300,000 to local initiatives. They’re bad. Like Michael Jackson BAD, bad. In honor of their 10 years in operation, we gave the branding a fresh coat of grit and grafitti.
